Ambassadors of the Future : Voyage of the Falcons

Ambassadors of the Future is part of an ongoing photographic series that traces key historical periods in Saudi Arabia’s journey. This chapter imagines a group of Saudi travelers from the 1700s arriving in New York to seek knowledge, bridging the cultural past with the modern world I currently live in.

Set around a historic house built in 1720, close to the year of Saudi Arabia’s founding in 1727, the outdoor setting becomes a symbolic backdrop. The photographs feature models in period-inspired clothing holding bags, reading vintage-style magazines, and writing in notebooks, reflecting moments of curiosity, travel, and transformation.

This project is the first in a larger body of work aiming to visually narrate the evolution of Saudi identity across time, space, and memory.
