Four rolls, four years in four weeks ..
Four Rolls in Transit reflects on what happened in Brooklyn throughout the last four years in four weeks through four rolls of film.
After moving from Saudi Arabia, movement became part of my everyday life. I found myself constantly transitioning between apartments, boroughs, routines, and emotional states. Shot on psych blues film, the project captures passing moments through saturated colors, softness, and light leaks, turning everyday scenes into fragments of memory and change.
As I prepare for another transition, moving from Brooklyn to Manhattan, the project reflects on how life continues through constant movement.
